La Digue Full-Day Tour (09:00 – 17:00)

Together we take a boat trip to the picture-perfect island of La Digue, where we explore the most beautiful spot on earth by bike. Relaxed and in tune with the island’s laid-back pace of life, we visit L’Union Estate Park. Once there, we will explore the giant tortoise enclosure, visit the vanilla plantation, and see the old colonial house. Of course, we will then visit the mother of all beaches: Anse Source d’Argent! Here you can snorkel to your heart’s content and enjoy the unique granite formations, the beach, the crystal-clear water, and the palm trees. It simply doesn’t get any better than this. We highly recommend having a fully charged camera or smartphone, because no one leaves this place without taking what feels like 1000 photos.
For nature lovers and birdwatchers, on the way back to the boat there is the option of visiting the Veuve Nature Reserve Park to catch a glimpse of the endangered Paradise Flycatcher or the Seychelles Salangane. This can be arranged on request. At around 4:30 p.m., we will start our return journey, arriving back on Praslin at around 5:00 p.m.

Curieuse National Park & BBQ & Snorkeling (Half-Day 09:00 – 13:00 or Full-Day 09:00 – 17:00)

Just a stone’s throw away lies the small 3 km² island of Curieuse. The island has no significant infrastructure and served as a “valley” for lepers in the 19th century. Today, there is a research station for sea turtles and giant tortoises and a few covered huts for barbecuing.
After a short boat ride, we dock at Baie Laraie beach and get up close and personal with the approximately 200 giant tortoises living in the wild, some of which are easily over 100 years old. You can observe, pet, and feed them at close range. Roby will be on hand to offer advice and assistance, so that no questions remain unanswered. Afterwards, we will take you on a leisurely hike through the fascinating jungle and mangrove forest to the other side of the island, where a Creole barbecue will be prepared for you. Afterwards, we will continue by boat to the small island of St. Pierre, where you can enjoy wonderful snorkeling. Enjoy the colorful reef fish of all kinds and, with a little luck, you may also encounter sharks and sea turtles.
On request, this tour can also be booked without BBQ and snorkeling, so that this tour can be booked as a half-day excursion.

Cousin Island Half-Day Tour (09:00 – 13:00)

After a 20-minute boat ride, we arrive at the beach of Cousin Island, located on the southwest coast of Praslin. Declared a nature reserve in 1968, the island was renaturalized a few years later into a rat-free animal reserve, which has clearly benefited the endemic wildlife of this island. The almost extinct Seychelles warbler has since regained a stable population, and the eggs of all other ground-nesting birds are now safe from these vicious pests. In addition, sea turtles use the beach to lay their eggs, and with a little luck, you can observe them up close. In addition to numerous geckos and some giant tortoises, you will have the opportunity to see numerous seabirds (noddies, frigatebirds, shearwaters, fairy terns) and land birds (Seychelles weaver, Seychelles magpie robin, Seychelles sunbird, paradise fruit dove). With Roby as your guide, you are in good hands, as he has worked here for many years, initiated various bird conservation projects, and knows this island inside out. You can therefore be sure that Roby can show and explain EVERYTHING to you.
